Using the wizard to create a query in Access crusade 2003 crusade
A query is a special type of query that correlates abstract abstract values between two or more sets of field values. Basically, it is calculated and restructure data for easier analysis. You can calculate a sum, average, count or other data for the total which are grouped into two types of information-one on the left side of the sheet and at the top. The cell at the intersection of each row and column shows the query results of the calculation. Here’s how to create a cross query in Access 2003 Microsoft Access 2003 Open .
on your computer by clicking the program icon .
Open Database window. Select the query page.
Click “New” on page requests. Choose “Query Wizard crusade” in the New Query dialog box, then click “OK .”
In the first dialog box, select the table Workorder crusade as a basis for consultation and , then click “Next. ”
In the next dialog box, double click on” supervisor “as the ground for use as the row heading and click” Next. ”
In the next dialog box, select “expenditure category” as the column header, and then click “Next .”
In the next dialog box, select” cost “as the value field and” Sum “in the list of functions. Clear the check mark next to “Yes.” Include row sums do not want to see if a column of total costs. The sample panel shows how the fields will be organized in the crusade. Click “Back” to return to a previous dialog box to make changes or click Next to complete the consultation .
Enter the query name, Workorder expenses by category, and Supervisor the last dialog box, then click “Finish.”
