How to define an anchor in HTML
Anchors are used to create links to other documents, the core activity of the World Wide Web. They can also be used to define markers in the current document, so that others can hyperlinks to connect them .
Set Anchor HTML
Top of the opening of its HTML editing software program and placing your cursor to the exact location where you want to define the anchor on its website .
Your Text : Click here to visit my website
Replace the material in quotation marks with the URL of the web page you want to bind .
Change “Click here to visit my website” consistent with the text you want to appear marked as a hyperlink. In most cases, the link will be blue and underlined .
Leave the label the way it is if you want the document with hyperlinks to appear in the same window . However, if you want it to appear in a new window, add an attribute goal so that the final outcome would look like this: Click here to visit my website
